Linda Lanterman received her Bachelor's of Science Degree in Accounting from Wichita State University. In 2010, she was appointed Director of Kansas State Parks for the Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks and Tourism (KDWPT). She previously served as the Assistant Director of State Parks, Assistant Administrator of Licensing and Permits and Human Resource Assistant. Linda also oversees outdoor recreation grants for KDWPT, including those for local governments, land and water conservation, and recreational trails.
She serves on many boards and community groups. Linda is active in service to the Kansas Recreation and Park Association; National Recreation and Park Association; National Association of State Park Directors; and National Association of State Outdoor Recreation Liaison Officers, many of which she serves as a board member.
Linda grew up as a free-range kid and she loves the outdoors. [current as of Sept 2016]
