Douglas J. Gaynor is the Director of Parks, Forestry and Recreation for the City of Evanston. He previously worked as City Director of Parks and Recreation for the City of Modesto, CA; County Director of Parks and Recreation for Santa Clara County in Los Gatos, CA; Director of Special Services and Director of Parks and Recreation for the City of Farmington Hills, MI; and Recreation Superintendent for the City of Southfield, MI. He received his B.A. degree in Business Administration from Michigan Technical University and his M.S. degree in Recreation and Park Administration from Central Michigan University.
